My name is Arthur. I was born and raised in San Jose, California, and I’ve always been drawn to exploring different creative paths. Over the years, that has included everything from drawing, music, and design to skateboarding, snowboarding, DJing, and building a clothing brand. I’ve also spent time helping run a youth summer camp focused on native culture, which has been one of the more meaningful ways I stay connected to community.
Looking back, those experiences are not random. They all shaped how I see the world. I pay close attention to how things are experienced, whether it is a product, a website, a physical space, or even something as simple as opening a package. I often find myself thinking about how something could be clearer, more intuitive, or more thoughtful. That mindset naturally led me to web development and product work, where I can apply that curiosity in a more structured way.
My interest in design goes beyond visuals. I am drawn to how systems come together, how decisions affect usability, and how experiences hold up over time. Whether I am working on a marketing site, a product, or an internal tool, I focus on creating something that feels intentional and useful, not just complete.
At the core of it, I care about helping people. I see web development and product design as tools that allow me to do that through clarity, structure, and thoughtful execution. I value collaboration, I am always looking to improve, and I try to bring a mindset that supports both the work and the people behind it.
Outside of work, I continue to explore creative interests, stay connected to car culture, and spend time with family. Those parts of my life keep me grounded and continue to influence how I think about community, identity, and the experiences we build for others.
If there is one consistent theme across everything I have done, it is a drive to keep learning, keep building, and keep getting better over time.
